Active Transportation

As the governing body for growing the sport and recreation of cycling in the Yukon, we are invested in working with community groups, recreation departments, and both the municipal and territorial governments to achieve that goal. We believe in Cycling for All, a guiding principle that people of all ages and abilities should get involved with cycling for enjoyment, health, active transportation, or more.
One organization we frequently collaborate with is the Whitehorse Urban Cycling Coalition (WUCC). We attend meetings with city planners, engineers, and politicians to provide our input. We also frequently co-sign letters for each other and aim to meet quarterly to discuss new initiatives.
