Description

Join the Whitehorse Urban Cycling Coalition and the Cycling Association of Yukon for our monthly Third Places Rides.

These rides are welcoming, social, no drop, relaxed, and perfect for the commuter curious.  What better joy than finding yourself on a bike in the sunshine?

What are Third Places?

A third place is a welcoming, informal public space outside of home and work where people can comfortably gather, connect, and spend time without pressure to buy or belong. For cycling commuters, these can be cafés, parks, or other community spots along a route that offer a place to pause, meet others, and feel part of a shared urban life, turning a daily ride into something more social, human, and enjoyable.

So come join us on Thursday, April 30th at 6:30 pm for a ride from starting and ending at Woodcutters Bar. The $2 suggested donation covers your insurance for the ride duration or you can purchase a Cycling Association of Yukon Community Membership ($40) and that covers you for the year along with many other CAY programs
