Description

Southern Lakes Yukon Gran Fondo (SLYGF) is an annual road relay around the beautiful Southern Lakes communities of Carcross, Marsh Lake, Mount Lorne and Tagish.

Now in its 13th year, the 173 km route can be ridden solo or with team-mates.

Come for the event, stay for the shindig and make it home to bed all in a day.

Each year we rotate the start/finish community. For 2021, we are starting in Marsh Lake.

Event day registration check in begins at 9 a.m. Mandatory riders meeting at 9:30 a.m. Event start at 10 a.m.

Timing

Legs will not be individually timed by race organizer but participants are welcome to time their own members. There will be a team finish time, so timer at the end getting the time for each team as the last person comes in.

You can ride 4 to 5 legs, either by yourself or with a team.

Support

You are responsible for supporting your own team. There will be no aid stations except at the start and finish so bring your own food and drink for on the bike and when in transit. There will be food/drink at the end at McClintock Bay Adventures.

McClintock Bay Adventures. 62 Swan Haven Drive in Marsh Lake. The event starts and ends at this location.
