Description
Part of a series of mountain bike race events sponsored by ParticipACTION.
Age categories
- 5 to 6 years old, ride with parent
- 7 to 8 years old, ride with parent or adult/teen ride mentor
- 9 to 11 years old, ride with teen/adult mentor
- 12 and older
- Adult: Novice, sport and expert
Duration
20 minutes to 1 hour, depending on age category.
Route
On various Gunnar Nilsson and Mikey Lammers Research Forest trails. Loop style race. Route will be flagged and participants younger than 11 years old will ride with teen/adult coaches or a parent for their race.
Start and finish times
- Race 1: 11 a.m. to 12 p.m.. Ages 12 and up, adults.
- Race 2: 12:30 p.m. to 1:00 p.m.. Ages 5 to 11.
Location
Gunnar Nilsson and Mikey Lammers Research Forest parking lot.
Cost
Free ($0).
To participate in this event, you need to sign a waiver and have a CAY membership and a U Kon Echelon club or race-only membership.
