Description

This is a stage race consisting of a individual time trial, road race and criterium. You must participate in all 3 events to win overall, but you can also just enter single or multiple events.

The 2022 Yukon Energy Road Championships is a mandatory qualification event for athletes who want to be part of the 2022 Canada Summer Games Yukon road cycling team. We will follow the same sequence of events as at Canada Summer Games.

Individual Time Trial

Friday, June 10. 7 p.m. race start

Adults and youth 16 years of age and older

Male: 20 km (10 km out and back course)

Female: 15 km (7.5 km out and back course)

Youth 15 years of age and younger

Male: 10 km (5 km out and back course)

Female: 10 km (5 km out and back course)

Saturday, June 11. 10 a.m. race start

Adults and youth 16 years of age and older

Male: 120 km (20 laps of 6 km course)

Female: 84 km (14 laps of 6 km course)

Youth 15 years of age and younger

Male: 42 km (7 laps of 6 km course)

Female: 42 km (7 laps of 6 km course)

Sunday, June 12. 10 a.m. race start

Adults and youth 16 years of age and older

Male: 50 km (50 laps of 1 km course)

Female: 40 km (40 laps of 1 km course)

Youth 15 years of age and younger

Male: 20 km (20 laps of 1 km course)

Female: 20 km (20 laps of 1 km course)

Cost

Adults (17 and older) are $35. You also need an annual CAY ($60) or single event ($30) membership to participate.

Youth (under 17) are $25. You also need an annual CAY ($40) or single event ($30) membership to participate.
